I have always loved sparrows, I have watched them jump, made their nests, enjoy a flight, and pick pieces of bread I threw for them, off the sidewalk in Mendoza, Argentina, when Beba Gallardo and I visited that area in 2002. In Rome, I was sitting by the pool and they happily came to stand on a table, looking for particles to eat!
