My cousin
César, did over 40 films and many soap operas (telenovelas),
such as "Ana del Aire". Won the Cannes Film Festival
in "El Angel Exterminador", acted in "La Sombra
de Cruz Diablo",
where he learned fencing to "fight" with a sword, was
an excellent horse rider. Acted in films such as "Con Quien
Andan
Nuestras
Hijas". Worked with Ninón Sevilla, another cuban
actress in the film: "La Perdida", and in presentations
with María Felix, Carlos
López Montezuma, Silvia Pinal. In Miami, Florida in the
early 1990's he directed and acted in a musical at Dade County
Auditorium
entitled: "Alma Cubana", written by Omar Reyes.
Married in
México to Teresa López with whom he had 2 sons: Cesar and Fernando.
Born in Havana,
Cuba May 9, 1922. Died in Miami, Florida of heart complications
on April 15, 2008.
